You need to consider what size skip to hire – if it's too big it's a waste of money, if it's too small you might have to hire a second skip. Once the bin has arrived you have to fill it yourself – you do all the work and may even have to call in some mates to help. When you've filled your skip you have to wait for it to be collected – this could take days. Plus, depending on the size of the skip and where you plan to place it, you may need to apply for a special permit from your local council.
